WesBell’s Type W cable is dual insulated with EPDM / Super Vu-Tron RHH RHHW to make it a 2000 volt heavy-duty cable. An open polyester braid reinforcement is applied between the insulation and jacket for mechanical strength. Our 4/0 cable has all the approvals and features such as UL-CSA-MSHA and resistance to water and sunlight.
It’s a heavy-duty cable designed for severe environmental conditions, including getting run over by heavy equipment. It’s an outdoor power supply cable for large portable power systems that can consistently endure high-stress levels over extended periods. Type W cables consist of bare copper, a reinforced polyester braid, EPDM insulation and a Super Vu-Tron RHH/RHW jacket. The dual insulation provides superior resistance to heat, sunlight, oils, ozone, water, acids, alkalis, abrasion and many harmful chemicals. Type W Cable Industry Applications
Our Type W 4/0 cable is ideal for permanent or temporary power applications that require up to 2000 volts and an operational temperature range from -40 to 90 degrees Celsius. Type W cable can also work in light to medium-duty mining applications.
