WesBell DLO (Diesel Locomotive) cable contains tinned copper strands and is dual insulated with EP / CPE insulation. The double layer of insulation adds protection for severe outdoor conditions for mining and earthmoving equipment installations. DLO cable is also used in shipyards and as motor leads in addition to its primary use in diesel-electric locomotives. It’s rated for 2,000 volts and 90C.
The 4/0 DLO cable diameter is 0.87 inches, and it weighs 845 pounds per 1,000 feet. This DLO cable is on the smaller end of the DLO size spectrum, but it offers excellent quality for your electrical applications.
