Features of MC Cable 2/4
The MC Cable 2/4 has a rating of 2 on the American Wire Gauge (AWG) scale. The wire has a large diameter that can handle more amps of current. This cable also has four thermoplastic high-heat-resistant, nylon-coated (THHN) conductors and an additional ground wire. These conductors efficiently pass the electrical current through the cable.
The MC Cable 2/4 is made from 19 small strands, making the cable more flexible. This flexibility allows the cable to be coiled and transported and makes it easier to install in confined areas like between outlets, inside mounted racks and patch panels.
