You can choose the most basic hand tools that strip insulation and crimp terminals as big as 10 AWG. Then you can upgrade to a hydraulic tool that gives you more pounds of force but it’s still operated by hand. Then, if you’re crimping on a regular basis, you can upgrade to a push-button battery operated crimping tool.

The battery-operated tools require dies that you can choose from before purchasing. Each die is associated with a particular AWG size and you will need all of the dies to match the AWG sizes you’ll be working with.
