It’s commonly used to wire thermostat control systems and other heating and air conditioning installations. It comes in 20 AWG and 18 AWG anywhere from 2 conductors to 8 conductors. Thermostat wire has a white outer jacket and it’s rated for 150 volts and 105°C.
