Features of Romex® NMB Cable 10/3
This Romex® NMB Cable has a 10 American Wire Gauge (AWG) rating and three conductors (10/3). The 10 AWG rating makes it mid-range for thickness compared to other wires and allows it to handle up to 30 amps. The three thermoplastic high-heat-resistant, nylon-coated (THHN) conductors made from annealed soft copper carry this electrical current. The ground wire is bare copper.
This product is a solid-strand cable, meaning the cable is heavier and thicker than a stranded cable. Solid-strand cables are durable and can handle high currents. Due to low current dissipation, Romex® NMB Cable 10/3 is an ideal choice for longer distances.
