It’s manufactured with premium PVC insulation on the conductors and an ethylene propylene copolymer jacket for direct burial in the Earth without conduit. XTRA Guard 3 devotes its energy to direct burial, ultraviolet light protection, fast and easy stripping of the jacket and having five times the water resistance to standard PVC cables. It’s UL and CSA approved for all of the characteristics stated on this page.
