There are many different sizes of UFB cable so you definitely want to make sure you have the right size by talking to your electrician or your electrical contractor. You should give them the length and the amount of amps you want to supply so they can give you an accurate awg size. UFB 12/2 always has an gray jacket along with all other UFB cables. Some Romex® gauge sizes will have different color jackets. The last thing be be sure of is that this cable is going to be used outdoors otherwise you can go with Romex® 12/2 which will be a lot cheaper. There are a lot of different electrical wire types so ask questions if you feel like you might make the wrong decision. If you only need the #12 wires you can take a look at our single conductor THHN wire. All of our THHN / THWN is dual rated so the THHN 12 wire is exactly the same wire you'll find in Romex® or UFB cables.
