Electrical wire 500 MCM is a stranded copper cable, also known as THHN wire 500, that you can buy online. It has a THHN THWN THWN-2 approved insulation with a Nylon jacket that can resist some environmental conditions. It can be used outdoors and in conduit, but isn't suited for direct burial. THHN stands for Thermoplastic High Heat Nylon and THWN adds the "W" for water resistant.

We also have a 500 MCM Welding cable in black of red insulation for more flexible applications. If you need multiple 500 MCM conductors you can buy a 3 phase MC cable in order to have all of the THHN wires bundled inside of a metal clad jacket.
